Web Cache

In order to improve web access, Malawi SDNP has put in place a web cache or proxy server to assist with the speeding up of serving web pages on the Malawi SDNP network. All Malawi SDNP users are requested to point their web browsers to the web cache. If you connect directly to the Lilongwe node then see the section on Lilongwe node below.

The following are the details for the cache:

Lilongwe Node

If you connect directly the the Lilongwe SDNP node then you may get faster web download speeds by using the web cache in Lilongwe as follows:

cache address (Lilongwe):	cache2.sdnp.org.mw
http port:	8080
